I wanted to thank you guys for your input in this thread as well as some of the other fuel leak threads. I'm the new owner of an 1996 7.3l, and I'm enjoying it so far.
I had a leak which was dripping from the bellhousing cover. It was difficult to tell where the leak was coming from with the engine cover on. With it off and with a good flashlight I quickly determined that the source of the leak was the banjo. Who the heck keeps a 1-1/4" box end wrench handy? I guess that I do now.

I was able to put a little bit on the banjo before my wrench ran out of stroke and I was not able to clock the wrench to get another pull on it. But, it was enough. Just a little bit of movement on the banjo nut tightened the connection and eliminated the leak. I never get this lucky!
