Hey guys, I found a 00 truck engine in the jy today and it was complete. I was thinking I would go back and pull the injectors which should be easy since its out of the truck. I have a non Cali 96 stroker, how much of a potential hp increase are these over my 90cc sticks? I assume they're 140cc split shots. I also found a super duty at another local yard it was missing 4 injectors the ps sticks were still there though, what would the other four be worth as a partial set? What other parts should I grab. I think I'm gonna get the spider and ic also.

If your gonna grab spider and ic, get the manifolds, up pipes, turbo, pedistol, pcm, sticks, idm, if you want to run the sticks your going to need custom tunes to run them, they are splits, you have singles, its worth it if they are cheap, like under 600 for all 8 and they are still good, otherwise just use them as cores and have them rebuilt for stage 2's,

The spider won't work unless you use that turbo and pedistol, up pipes and what not.

The SD splits are not going to give you any more performance than you stockers. They were designed to meet performance and emissions. And they will also need custom tunes to run. Your better off getting tunes and running you stockers. If they are cheap then pick them up for cores and get yourself some stage 1's or 2's...

Sd turbo/IC setup will work, but you have to change the up pipes from the manifold and i think you have to remove drivers side manifold to do so... Alot of work, but doable, better off getting the pipes and IC if they are the right price...

Thanks for the replies guys. I am talking about two different engines though and I'm not sure what year the superduty is so it could be an e99. In that case I wouldnt need the turbo up pipes etc right? You've also left me wondering about the sticks, my understanding was that SD's put down bigger numbers with stock split shots. I believe I read somewhere that my truck could put down about 300-325 while a SD could put down about 375. I have no idea what these people were running for hpo but I don't think I want more than 400-800.

IF its an e99 then you wont need the up pipes from the manifold up... You just want the spyder, IC pipes, and IC... The e99 spyder will bolt right up to your stock turbo, the IC pipes will have to be cut and welded to fit your OBS though.

If its a late 99 to 03 you will need up pipes, pedestal, turbo, intake manifolds, IC pipes, IC, and all the boots. Also i am not sure but i think that there is a clearance issue with the OBS fuel bowl. So you might have to do the delete mod or go with efuel...

The SD setup will flow more air into the motor bc it uses 3" intake plenums but it is a lot more work. I was going to go this route but decided to go with a custom IC pipe setup...

It was an E99! I got the spyder and pipes but the ic was toast, well not completely toast but it was pushed in and I'd have to remove and seal off one of the tubes because it's punctured. Anyhow I paid $60 and I got three of the boots and three clamps both pipes and the spyder. And to top it all off I didnt even need any tools it was all pulled already and strewn about.

AD's will give you a good increase. Not dyno'ed my truck but it fuels harder and is stronger than any tuned stock injector'ed truck i've been in, and thats with a weak 15* pump. Consider that there have been SD's put down mid 300's with stock injectors, while a OBS is lucky to hit low-mid 200's. Only real difference are injectors, fuel pump, HPOP, and intercooler. If you can grab the injectors and HPOP, and they are in good shape, with some tuning you'll have cheap horespower.

Now if its the E99 your talking about then they are AB's, which are smaller. Not sure how much of a gain you'll notice with em.
