Finally dropped the 2wd and got my lwb crew cab 4wd, our Louisiana mud don't play. I've decided on 5" diamond eye Turbo back exhaust, DPTuner,(dropping my superchips), zoodad mod, leveling kit, only place I'm stuck is whether to get the garret 38 or just a banks big head and wicked wheel, any suggestions? I tow a 32ft w/ a super slide all over the country for work but when not pullin I do like to go faster.

Do all the other stuff first.
Do a WW2
You might find that works very well for you.
I didn't see gauges on your list...

I'm torn between this myself. I was thinking an ats housing, ww2, and using the exhaust side from a van (no EBPV) would be a good combo. But is the 38 still going to be better?

Bradshaw, the Infinity will work great for gauges.

I have a Van turbo with the BD billet wheel and I kept the EBPV.
Works great for me, egt's never ever get too hot.
Spool was quite slow with the stock wheel, but the billet wheel makes it fine.

Feel free to ask me any other questions about it that you may have.

Stock turbo with ww2 and 38r aren't even in the same ballpark... You guys are comparing a 59mm induced to a 66mm inducer there is a huge difference in these 2 turbos, thats almost like comparing a s366 to a s475, its 2 different leagues. The 38r is going to be the better turbo, if the truck was bone stock, as in not tuned i would say ww2. The stock turbo is Maxed out with a tune so why even waste money on a turbo you outgrow when you tune the truck.
