As I have been battling this ICP, I got to wondering where does everyone get their parts from. I know to get OEM, but where does everyone go? Or if there is better than OEM I would like to know. Recently I have been getting parts thru Dieseltruckpartsdirect.com. But my ICP is not the right one and they keep sending me the wrong part number. It is supposed to be 1845428-C91, but they keep sending me part # 1845428-C92. Does this make a difference? Or should I be going right to Ford? Thanks. This goes for everything. Thanks.

But back to the ICP, what year truck do you have? Is your ICP on the valve cover or under the turbo (near the HPOP).

Both of My 6.0's have the icp on the valve cover. They are the later built 2004. My excursion is a 1/05 build, my ny 2004 is a late 2004 build.

The ICP on 04.5-07 models is located on the passenger side valve cover
If yours is mounted directly to the pump cover (behind the turbo) then you will need 3C3Z-9F838-EA
has anyone ever used parts from dieseltruckpartsdirect.com before here? I switched out my icp from my excursion to my F250 (my excursion had the good icp) to see if it was just my icp on my F250. I then had to go shopping for a new icp so I bought one from dieseltruckpartsdirect.com and it just didn't run right. I since bought one from autonation and it appears to run better. this is just pure observation. So I ask has anyone bought from dieseltruckpartsdirect.com? Just curious. There shipping is incredibly fast. I have to say that. I have bought a wiring harness from them, and several other misc items. So IDK. but I will continue to buy from autonation. Thank you.

My Father and brother in law now go there excusively when they need parts because of how good they are!
I have to say, I miss the old timer that retired a couple years back that worked the front counter, i forget his name but he was a lot of fun to talk to about his dirt track car.

I have ordered from Sunrise Ford quite often as well for my OEM parts - usually free shipping too. Also have gotten them from local dealers.
