Need some guidance and advice from y'all on here. I have a 2016 F250 SRW with a 6 inch lift and 37's. I am trying to decide on what size exhaust tip will look good, but not over the top. I am a big fan of RBP and would be going with one of theirs in black with red. Would you go with 6,8,or 10 inch outlet?

Thanks in advance for the help and advice.

That’s kind of a subjective issue. Personally, I have a 5 inch exhaust with no tip and love that look. But, any tip over 6 inches just looks disproportionate to me, so I would vote 6 inch if I had to have a tip. Haha.

On my 6.0 that was lifted 4 inches and 35's I went from a 4inch exhaust to a 6 inch tip looked kind of funky to me just because of how much it changed in a short time. If I were to do it again I'd go 5inch to 6 inch or like @DrivingAFord said none at all. I personally like the look of the stock tips on my 6.7, and I told the wife that I'd keep it somewhat quiet until the new baby is a little older :hehe: so I just went with a delete pipe and left everything else on the exhaust factory.

If you are 16-20 living at home, or in a mid life crisis impressing hooters girls, go with a 8-10" dumped at the axle or a stack.

Otherwise... apply some moderation... 1-2" bigger than the pipe.

Bingo I agree with that and laughing too.

Those 5 gallon can looking tips are hopefully not on your truck jd410. lol

Either way my thoughts on what looks nice is a longer tip that looks almost factory. This is what I put on my truck and I found it on eBay and is welded. Length is 18"overall and outside of tip is 7"

I also run a full 5” exhaust with no tip had that on my 01 as well and love that look, if you want to go with a tip and it’s a 5” exhaust just go with a 6” tip, if it’s a full 4” exhaust go with an5” tip it won’t look out of portion unless that’s the look your going for.

Reminds me of this.

Like heavy said. My rule of thumb is the tip should be no bigger than 2" bigger than the exhaust.

I have a 4" turbo down 5 "back, (came with truck) mine ends right at the fender. Id go with just a tad bigger than what exhaust is. Im reordering a "tip" because i misordered my tip. I just need it past the fender so itll quit getting black on white. Lol

Four inch exhaust and a six inch tip. I think it is tasteful and not over the top.

for those of us who do our wrenching outdoors, rolling around in the gravel and dirt while under the truck - why yes, yes I am VERY jealous! Your effen garage sound system blows my house unit right off the wall! Man, makes me miss my old garage from when we lived in a sticks and bricks house. One of the sacrifices we made to go full time RV'ing.

Cheers!

MH you forgot to add the 4 ton sound system, looks like it would warm up your shop in no time!! Beats my RCA boombox that I have to re-tune at least every 3 days. When I grow up I want a shop just like that!!

PS: Also noticed the 50lbs gunny sack of Marijuana, California!!!

I built that shop myself when I was a younger man in 1992 for around $11,000. Fully insulated and dual panes, I have added things over the years but all in all it was cheap. Shop used to pump out woodworking projects now it just keeps my truck warm. lol
Stereo systems have always been my weakness and still is lol. Drivers all Beyma Studio 8ohm with only a Pioneer Elite SC07 driving them. They could be taken to a whole different level but its not going to happen.

Oh the weed bag came from my brother when him and a few guys were growing in Humbolt years ago. Found it upstairs years after it was put there. It was stuffed once upon a time.

LOL
I have lost a few cups that have waddled off the bench from the stereo. Boots in the dryer do well though I will have to say.

Wow dude that shop is awesome!!! I just bought a new to me house and will need to build a shop/truck garage out back. What are you dimensions for the first floor? Do you feel like it's just big enough to work in while the truck is parked inside? You need to make a thread just for that shop.
