Separator plug is on the bottom of the HFCM (Horizontal Fuel Control Module) - the assembly that houses your fuel pump. Should be a 6mm hex recessed head if it's the factory plug.

Thanks Jokester I found it, tried it, previous owner must have stripped it so tow on the way. I did see where I could take hose clamp off and syphon, provided there's no baffle in the way but it's all somebody else's problem now. It's a company truck, just trying to save a dollar.

How long have you had the truck?
About a year, 2nd motor after 180,000. Undeleted company truck

Whatever has happened is not directly related to the fuel treatment, in that the treatment overdose, as explained, will not cause this problem. The treatment may have loosened up some junk and that junk has caused an injector tip to stick.

Post your video to youtube or Rumble and then post the link in this thread so we can look at the smoke.
Thanks Hydro, I'll try next break I get.

Nah it's no use. I exceeded 20 mb so no video. (Washes hands) Thanks everybody!!! Feels like family now!

I have poured an entire gallon of howes diesel kleen and a small bottle of power service anti-gel supplement in a mix of a full tank of diesel before when it was -20 and my truck was fine. I don’t think whatever is going on is related to the fuel conditioner. Most say you cant over treat. Your truck could literally run on this stuff short term. People have made videos of it for proof.

Your right Mo I managed to loosen crude and now an injector is clogged. My mini ex has more power, cranks easier, that Power Service is good stuff. I see why it sold out first. I'll definitely keep a bottle of that stuff behind the seat.

Now if anyone knows how to delete, then undelete to pass emitions, then delete again would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks everybody!

Dont keep the treatment in your truck, if it leaks your truck will get all stinky. You can wait to put it in the tank when you get home

owns 2006 Ford F250 Lariat FX4
I talked to power service about their leaky bottles
they said they couldn't find a mfg to make a cap and bottle that would seal properly

i told them to talk to any milk jug/oil jug MFG on the planet for tips lol

ridiculous to be known for your stinky leaky bottles , my toolbox had a holder just to keep my deisel kleen upright

I’ve run about every type of anti gel at one time or another, Ive added way to much, and never noticed a difference. Some was good, more was better in real cold temps. I didn’t know you could add to much.

Hey Jeff it wasn't the treatment. Everything else I put that Power Service in has actually kicked up a notch. My question now is did that Power Service cause a weak spot in the block to blow? They tried to patch it but it's in a spot that's unpatchable, figures. Going for 3rd motor. Are all powerstrokes sand casted btw? I keep reading the 7.3's are the best but I'm about to venture out from Ford. Duramax in the near future.

I don’t understand what you mean a ‘spot on the block to blow’ or ‘spot that’s unpatchable’??

I don’t know if they are all sand cast. Others here would know better than I.

7.3 I hear is the best so far from friends who have them. They just keep on running 20+ years later.

All 6.0s and I would guess the 6.4s are sand cast. I would even venture to guess the 7.3 is also but I'm not sure since these were all the motors made by Navistar or International.
