The 22 pieces inside the upper right gasket are for the studs and bolts that fasten the valve covers to the rocker box.

The 4 pieces grouped in the center of the lower gasket are for the CCV black box, that mounts on the driver side valve cover.

The thick O-ring to the left of the 4 pieces inside the lower gasket, fits between the valve cover and the ICP on the passenger side valve cover...if it's a 2004.5 and later engine.

The 3 O-rings laid vertically in the lower gasket, are probably for; the oil fill tube passenger side, and the dummy plug in the driver side, and the 90 degree swivel on the black CCV box on the driver side.

The 8 small O-rings inside the lower gasket MAY be for the fuel injector harness plugs.

I don't know about the remaining 2 small ones in the lower gasket.

lol, just got down doing my driver side valve cover a couple of weeks ago.

hardest part was taking them dang FICM connectors on and off.

Other than that, 2 beer job. Don't forget to get a new PCV oring, green oring. does not come with the valve cover gasket kit.

I had it down to the injectors so valve covers were the easy part. Lol. And I got the pvc O-Ring with standpipes and dummy plugs.
