I followed what the book said one time about the rear diff bolts. I thought it read 80 ft/lbs... I was like uhhhhh ok. So I torqued them all to 80 ft/lbs. The last one broke and then I found out I was looking at the wrong spec.
Bottom line is on bolts like that and this just snug them good. That's what I did for both my trans pan and my diff cover bolts later and no leaks :thumb:
i did 120 in/lbs, if you have a in/lb torque wrench
