Can anyone give first-hand comments on the Sulastic Shackles?

I have a 2014 Dually and considering them. In reading about them and watching youtube vidoes, it appears they would take some of the harshness out of the ride and help with the "hop".

As mentioned I do run them. They did take the Harshness out of the ride, can still feel the bumps and the expansion joints but not like I use too. I got use to them after a week so it doesn't feel as "soft" anymore but if I didnt have them I know it would be more noticeable.

How difficult was the install?

How heavy have you pulled with them?

Thanks, Tom

So, took the plunge and installed theses on my 2015 F250. Was easy enough to install myself...helps to have a second person to jack the axle of the truck up and down once it is on stands so you can move the springs in the correct position. Does seem to make a positive difference in the ride quality. I drive mostly unloaded and it really smoothed out the bumps.

Thank you for the feedback. This is what I was hoping.

Every time we get in the truck together my wife says “ ooo, so bumpy”...and not in a good way.
I’ve seriously considered these as well.

So many things to save my money for!!!!

Posting from 2017+ section
So I have looked at these shackles since I owned my last truck and never pulled the trigger. Well couple years later and I finally did and wish I had done it sooner. It was a little over 600$ If I remember right with exchange and some shipping to Canada so it was kinda expensive yet for how the truck rides, well worth it. So far with only maybe 50 kms of driving I notice improvements. I stuck to all local roads I drive every day since I can compare the two ride qualities the best. No box hop going in and out of my driveway, no clunks going over the bridge seams or small potholes cracks/ rough roads and the section of road under construction a few streets over was so smooth on the gravel and the transition from pavement to a lower gravel grade. Speed bumps in parking lot are smoother and the box doesn’t clunk and is way less harsh. Now the front of my truck feels to stiff lol. For a couple tests, I also hooked my 23’ surf boat up and my neighbours 32’ camping trailer and almost zero change on the shackle with both. I sort have thought it would have almost bottomed them out but never. Didn’t try and tow anything. Just hitch weight test. Initial Install took me almost 4 hours but that also includes me and my almost 3 year old son stopping to build his ford raptor power wheels that was just delivered. I never torqued the bolts on the top of the shackle as I thought I would have access to it once it was on the ground but I never. Just curious I took it for a spin around the block just to see and came back and pulled everything apart and put back together again. Second go around took me just shy of an hour. This is done in a driveway with just ratchets and wrenches. No power or air tools. Will have to see the longevity of these and as of first impressions, I’m hooked. Not quite a 1/2 ton ride but no 3/4 ton either. Let’s call it a 9/16 ton ride on a 4” lift 37’s with fox shocks. Torque Specs on spring rear bolt to shackle and shackle to frame bracket 173 lb ft Lower shock bolt 111 lb ft Truck is a 2018 F350 Platinum CC 4X4.

I've had the sulastic shackles on for a couple of months now. I had a shop do it and it was about $150 in labor. I bought them off of ebay and it was a little cheaper than through their website. They were sold from sulastic on their ebay website. The ride is better than before. It took some of the harshness out of the ride. I am also aired down to 30 lbs on my rear tires on my dually when empty and the ride is decent. I would do them again.

Now I'm going to try shocks to see how that changes the ride.
