i'm not personally running them but 17s will fit. mine came factory with 17s. as far as 16s no, i had a set off my 04 and would not clear (plus most 16 have a very negative offset which would make them stick WAY out which looks cool but...)

 

I thought that you needed at least an 18 for the 08-09s :dunno:

I know 16's wont work, but im not sure about the 17's

 

Well 17's come stock on some xls and maybe some xlts but they are steel i think. Will the extra meat in a aluminum wheel still clear?

 

I had a friend who tried 17x10 with 4.5BS and they hit the calipers...

He went 20's after that mishap.

 

I have seen Walker Evans 17" wheels on 08 and up trucks. I am not sure what it took to get them on there. So Cal Super Trucks had some pictures on their site.

 

Mounted a set of factory steel 17's on a customers 08 F250 wed pm so he could go drag racing and they cleared everything.

 

we have axis beadlocks in 17s on our 08 f350 and they clear no problems.

 

Depending upon your back spacing, a 17" will work, I don't recommend it simply because of how close it is to the calipers and how easy it would be for a small rock to get stuck and jam the wheel, damaging the caliper and wheel, I would at least do 18s, but to each his own

 

The rims i'm looking at have a 4.5 inch back spacing. I think i'm gonna order them and just hope they fit... The manufacturer says they will fit, but I'm still skeptical.

 

they should fit thats a lil less backspace than the factory ones, i think there about +1.5in somebody correct me if i'm wrong... if so the factory 17s are 7.5 wide which puts them at bout 5.25 backspace. (roughly) haha
