Hello all!!

My P/S pump is getting weak and i want change it and all the lines as they are getting worn. I know there are 3 or 4 at least that tie the pump to box, to hydroboost and cooler. The 2 lines from the cooler to where they tie in to hardline by front left tire aren't a problem but from there back is where it gets muddy. I am looking for part numbers for good aftermarket hoses and pump as as I really do not want to pay dealer prices if possible.

Any help would be helpful

Thanks!!:ford:

What makes you say it is getting weak? I think I have a problem with the internal worm gear on mine. It turns without effort and fully to the right....but not the left. I haven't been looking long, but found a HUGE range in prices. (150 to 850) I haven't a clue to what the difference is....I am guessing beefier internals. I would certainly appreciate some input on this subject as well.

I normally never hear the pump, now I am starting to hear it. I know that most Fords make some noise but mine has been silent until now. I also feel binding/stiffness when foot on brake and turning wheel and feel pulsation in brake pedal. I also had it checked to confirm. I also found wide range of pricing between dealer and Napa, online etc. Dealer wants around 630 for everything including core dep. The dealer pump does not come with a new reservoir. I did get the PN's from Dealer and Napa
