I had the same situation with my number 5 and added revx and it still kept goin on I have just come to terms that I have to replace that injector. But whose to say it wind work I would rather spend 80 on revx and see that just go ahead and drop the cash for an injector

 

Yeah I think I am gonna try it but the vendo that sells it around here says they put 2 in first time then 1 at every oil change !! Is that what I should do ??

 

Could be an injector harness issue also.

 

Also truck seams to b running great !! Is there any way to check the harness without taking it in to shop ??

 

I'm not sure about the 2 then 1 I'm on my first cycle of it

 

I worked on an Excursion that gave me fits on contribution code for #8. I pulled the harness and ohmed it out and couldn't find a problem. Installed new harness and it was fixed. Not saying that's your problem but it is a definite possibility.

 

Dont supposed u remember the cost of said harness do u ?? It might be my second option after the rev x !!

 

I think he bought it from Autofair Ford for around $200

Just noticed that since I reloaded matts srl to add more pressure to shifts from 3-5 that code has not come back in 2 days so now I am confussed but oh well its gone 4 now !!!
