Lower fuel filter stuck

so, I come to the greater minds for ideas. I’ve replaced the fuel filter 3 times on my truck and twice on my dad’s truck no issues. This time I let my truck go for an extra 10k miles without changing it and it’s stuck.

I can get the bolts and lower case removed but the fuel filter will not come out. All the other times it dropped out no issue. I have tugged on it hard but no means real rough. I don’t want to break the housing. Any ideas?

Haha, that scared the **** out of me lol. Next time I drive home. I’ll update with how that turned out for me.

Yeah you gotta pull hard. I pull hard while walking it back and forth til it comes free.

Just the filter? I’ve tried that and moving inside to side. It has some give left to right. Just don’t want to break the housing but only other ideas I have is get my clamps and pull harder.
