I just insalled the ATS housing and just got back from the test drive. The truck ran alot smoother and the surge is gone! awesome! . . but i noticed that i was getting about 4 pounds less boost and it also took longer to build boost pressure right away. . . is both of those normal with the new housing??

thanks

Could it be The waste gate controller adjustment? I know some guys have to shorten the actuator arm when they install the housing .... I compared both waste gate controller mounts on both housings and they looked to be the same height so I didn't adjust anything. It's it possible it just needed a little adjustment? .... If anything, the new housings mount seemed just a hairs width shorter....

I lost 3 psi but i also have the ww installed.I left my wastgate the way it was on my stock housing did not adjust it with the new housing.I would look for leaks that might be your issue.
