Higher the lbf more smoke, more fuel and less turbo lag

Thanks. Thats not quite what I need to know. I understand the settings im just wondering if the 6.7 will improve the throttle response by adjusting it. I know my 6.4 was more responsive on 3. 5 it seemed loaded up from a stop.I guess I will try it so I can post some feedback. Thanks.

 

Ok, just tried it on 5. Hardly a puff from a takeoff but power is noticeable. Still has a little lag when you rev it lightly but I guess its not a 6.4. Still have to decide on the trans tuning. I think its perfect but dont know if my buddy will. It shifts much harder than the 6.4 tuning.

 

I have mine set on lbf 4 and I have no complaints. Good throttle response. Not too bad turbo lag.

Thanks for the help guys. I winded up leaving it on 3. Thats where the the throttle response was still very good and a light puff of smoke and thats it. Felt just as good power wise on 3 as it did on 5. Very happy with the 6.7 trans tuning. It is PERFECT! my buddy couldnt believe the difference from stock. I would recommend this setup to anyone.

 

How do you get the trans tune?

 

It asks when you download the tuning if you want to tune the tranny. To change the low boost fueling do you have to redownload every time?

Yes this is correct on the trans tune and the low boost fuel. You must be on the newer udate to get the lbf options.

 

Also, the newer trans tuning is great. Actually the best out of any of the trucks I Have used h&s on. Firm and quick on every gear. And doesnt change, its the same every time.

 

Ok so if I selected "no" on trans tune. The only way to get it is to return to stock and download the entire thing again? Same way if I said not to LBF?

That is correct. Those are options in the download menu.

 

You don't have to return to stock, just select install download again.

Correct. You never need to go to stock to make any modifications to the tune. Simply go to install download, select h&s tuning, & go with it.

 

Has anyone noticed a mpg difference with a higher setting? I adjusted mine and on the instant mpg readout it looks like its slightly worse. Could be in my head though.

I think it actually a little more close to being right now.

 

I have a question for everyone out there, I installed the MM last weekend and I played with the Stock - High Performance tune. I changed these settings while I was at idle and parked, do I need to restart the vehicle when I do this or do i need to reload the program to have the changes take effect?

Nope, that is the beauty of the shift on the fly tunes, just click the buttons up or down.
