I don't know why it's telling you not to update it. I'm familiar with the fusion software for just the insight. I don't know maybe it will delete some tunes that are on it:dunno:

They told me not to update it because it was their "Race" model that took into account that the egr was blocked... If I update it, I got a feeling that I am gonna cause myself grief until I can get my tune from PHP, but its been 10 weeks since my tune from PHP was paid for and I havent seen a tune yet... THIS SUCKS !

 

Wierd, the first thing the insight said was to update before use. Anyone know Is there a way to configure the gauge layout via the fusion software?

 

So there are guys writing custom tunes for Edge porducts?? I have used Fusion to format Analog inputs and set up custom backgrounds, never had a problem.

You should be able to do the update without any issues, otherwise why would they have updates??

They told me not to update because it was their "Race" model that allowed you to choose whether you have an EGR blocker or not.. If I update to the "normal" software, that might take away the fact that it accounts for my deleted EGR cooler and Egr valve and give me a CEL .....

 

The guage configuration is handled on your touch screen, if you want to add a custom background that is done via the Edge my way software, not the fusion. I believe that the Fusion update will wipe out your race tune if you update it, just like it will your php tunes when you get them. I got the PHP 120 race and love it, w egr delete, much better than Edge canned tunes.
