Thought 94.5 95 and 96 where a bit different? Only 96-97 were same?

For the most part, the owner's manual will be close enough as far as power distribution and the day-to-day operations of controls and accessories. But yes, some things like the dome light lamps will be different.

Generally, internal engine components aren't discussed in the owner's manual. Nor was it mentioned "Your 1995 powerstroke will have a different fuel filter housing than later models." If we were discussing service manuals, you may have a point.

I have a 1997 for f350 7.3...
My truck started driving rough and smoking heavy. Code read P0470
Pull the esps out, was clogged. cleaned it The connector was badly clogged, cleaned it also. check the end of the line had just a little crud at the end, clean it also...put all back together and started it. still rough and smoking, blueish white with puffs of gray...check codes again, this time P0472. So replaced the sensor. cleared the codes and got a new reading. no codes. However, still running the same.. I was told to blow or clean the line?? could that be it???

The EBP line can get clogged pretty good. I remove the tube and use some wire rope (like an old bicycle brake cable) chucked in a variable speed drill with some carb cleaner to clean it out. It basically acts like a plumbing snake and will make a nice mess. Cheers!
