As stated above my e locker in my 2011 250 with 10.5 and 3.55 gears is bum. I noticed that eaton makes an e locker

Eaton - Ford 10.25in./ 10.5in. Limited Slip | 4WheelParts.com

Question is this all that is this all I need to fix it and can I activate it with the factory switch or would I be better off to get the ford diff. Lord know what they want for it. Thanks guys any input is greatly appreciated.

My E-locker wasn't too bad till it partially engaged once and ended up eating up the gears in the rear end. luckily I got it replaced under warranty. I would be interested in this as well.

The link you added says that is a limited slip...not an E-locker. I did some hard searching for an aftermarket one as well a while back and came to the conclusion that one isn't made, it's either air actuated or automatic ones. However, I was able to find some salvage yards with whole axle assemblies that included the factory e-lockers, and in all reality that would be the easier way of replacing/adding one for the layman.

If my info is wrong though, I'd like to know. My 2014 is just an open diff and it really sucks...need something soon.

My factory elocker has helped me out a few times. Really handy to fall back on before engaging 4x4. I'd shoot for finding a used one at a scrap yard if you needed to replace. Shouldn't be more than a couple three or four hundred I would think.

There really isn't aftermarket support for elockers on our trucks unless you really wanna get custom.

eh...more than that. Place I saw was anywhere from $1200-1500 depending on mileage/condition. Didn't mention anything about core charges though, so that may cut a bunch off.

Shoot I guess that is a limited slip I swore it said e locker. Well guys I called ford they want 1200 for the factory diff which is outrageous I'm currently searching for an air locker I saw a thread a while back about this might hit that guy up. I would hope I can get all this done for less than a thousand doing it myself but my main goal is to be able to use the factory pull switch because it is going to kill me knowing that it is there and it doesn't do anything. I will keep everything recorded and post up some findings and some hard end money and cost of doing this. Hoping I don't break the bank. Thanks guys.
