Go to their web site and it will list the built in functions and then you can look up the additional x-gauge features. The X-gauge was already there on the last one I purchased and you just put the gauge parameters in, nothing extra to buy if that is what you were asking.

 

hmmm, because I saw one ebay where the x gauges werent included and it needed to be sent in to reprogram it.

 

If the x-gauge programming isn't on it then it must be an old version. I bought one in May of '10 and another one in Sep '11 and both had x-gauges.

 

$25 bucks to send in to be upgraded. You pay shipping oneway. They tell you how on their website.

 

When you buy a ScanGauge the X-gauge is included; just input the data for it to receive FICM Voltage.

 

You also want to it to read EOT and ECT which it will after you program it.

 

ECT is fWT* in the gauge already.

Just sounds like the one seen on ebay is an older model. And it may not have Xgauge in it.

I bought mine 2 years ago, and Xgauge was in it.

To the OP, ask the seller on ebay which version # it is, then e-mail Scangauge and see if it can be upgraded.

 

I just got my sg2 and it was easy. Look up codes for x gauge here on the forum.

 

mine is 4 years old and the X-Gauge were programed on it, it was new though it was in the fall of 2007.
