Hello, I have a 12 valve Cummins swapped into my 2008 Super Duty

My battery light is on and I'm only charging at 13.5 volts at alternator and 13 volts at battery

I have utilized the factory 6.4 alternator but only one of them

my truck had a dual alternator system

I guess the ECU is looking for the second alternator, does anybody know how I will be able to bypass that?

Any help greatly appreciated

If your truck came with a dual alternator setup and you are just running the Ford 200 amp alternator, then yes the ECM is looking for the second alternator and throwing the alternator dash light because it things the second alternator in not working. I drove around for about a year staring that light in the face.
Finally I found a tuner who knew his stuff, Fumminstuning.com. Fix requires a Forescan. A USB dongle dual switch and laptop. Turn off the dual alternator in the setting with Forescan. I currently have plans to re-add the dual alternator to my 6.7 cummins conversion using 2013 Dodge dual alternator bracket and turning back on the Ford dual option.
