Centrifuge oil filters

I like the idea of a centrigal filter, but I would not use it to extend my oil to 40k miles. I still would change it every 5k.

I stumbled on to centrifugal filters when I looked at biodiesel, and at the time, I did not see a kit for sale, but May have bought this if it was available then. I did found some other filters Where I could build a kit.

FOr biediesel, the concept is the same at particles as small as .5 micron can be filtered out Using centrifugal force.

I had a huge centrifugal filter on my first big rig about 20 years ago. That big cam cummins held 44 quarts of oil with the extra capacity of that filter.
