I am running the Donaldson P550437, it is 5 microns at a beta value of 20 (95% efficient)... don't know what it is absolute (98.7% efficient or a beta value of 75) but I venture to guess in the 7-10 micron range. OEM spec is 10 microns absolute (ish)...

Power Stroke Diesel - Power and Pride

Some filters are slightly better, the aforementioned Donaldson, Baldwin (9 microns absolute) and some aren't as good, purolater is in the 20-25 micron range. 7.3s aren't as sensitive as the higher pressure common rail engines since it is the oil side of these injectors that usually lets go, not the fuel side. However I don't think better fuel filtration is a bad thing so long as it doesn't restrict flow.

I use the Racor PFF 4616 from Dieselfiltersonline.
Primary filters 10 microns, secondary 2 microns
kit for both with O-rings is $34.95.

I usually order 4 oil filters and 2 fuel kits at a time because shipping is the same, something like $6.
