Alliant Power Injectors

I'm looking for some feedback from folks who have used Allaint Power injectors for their 6.0L. I have injector #3 that's 'weak' according to the dealer, and I have already decided that when the first one goes down, I'm going to do them all at the same time. I have a shop in town that sells them for I believe $225 last time I checked. I've seen them as high as $275 to $300.

I don't need performance, just going mostly stock with a mild custom tune. All I'm looking for is some honest feedback on experiences with Allaint Power's product.

I just bought 8 brand new Alliant injectors for my truck. I drove it 3 times now. I'll keep this thread posted.

Alliant is also a distributor for pure power they make the Original injector and also now make all new units

our good sponsor Accurate Diesel sells Alliant . I just can't comment on alliant remans because I have never used them just OEM remans
and now if i need an injector I will use the all new units from Pure Power / Alliant from Accurate

i bought some Alliant injectors several years ago from Thoroughbred Diesel. I asked them if they were new. They said yes. Not remans.
Alliant had a recall on the injectors and asked all distributors and retailers to pull the injectors off shelves. Thoroughbred sold them to me knowing there was a recall. About 3 months after I had them installed, the first one took a crap. The top of the injector came apart at the o-ring where it fits on the oil rail nipple. I had it fixed locally. Then another one on the same side took a crap about a month later. I replaced ALL the injectors with less than 10,000 miles on them with Ford's. No issues.
I contacted Thoroughbred and all I got was the run around. They offered to send me a rebuild kit or they could rebuild them for me if I sent them the injectors at my cost. Alliant never responded.
Since they don't have a registered agent here in AK I couldn't file suit. Their GM is/was a snake (don't know if he's still there and can't remember his name). I would call them and ask for him, I would get "he's not here right now he's out of state" I'd call back 30 mins later and he would answer the phone.

All in all It cost me a **** ton of money (about $9 grand IIRC). Turns out all it was in the first place, was my ficm (was misdiagnosed by dealer).

Needless to say, I was a noobie with my '06 6.0. I got schooled real fast. I do all my work now. And I stay in touch with the .org. Even though I haven't been very active lately with a new job ( I travel a lot since my territory is all of AK and HI) and a new house that I am remodeling.

My KR is running tops, but I will have to replace ball joints this summer for sure and tend to my 4wd system (vacuum leak)......

I had Warren Diesel rebuild my ford injectors about 2 years + ago. Haven't had a single issue.
I took out my old injectors and my old ficm off my '06 when I rolled it almost 4 years ago. So I have a spare set of injectors and a ficm too ....

I have heard a lot of guys thrashing them but myself, they have been fine. As a mechanic I only replace them after they don't function so if it only needs one thats all she gets. I use the rev x and as I say they have worked fine for me.

My brand new ones only come with a 2 year warranty, they are stock replacements. They were not cheap $293.56 a piece.
