Frame mount with skid plates and access hatch ftw

 

i have a 5 gallon bolted to the bed in the corner , the compressor is mounted to the frame and air hose through the bed into the tank

 

I have mine mounted behind my rear seat on a custom bracket. For as little as it runs, I can deal with the little noise and it is out of the elements

 

^^^ and usually when its running your outside using it

 

Actually, I am inside dialing in the ride with the remote control

 

Is your spare tire still under the bed?

I just put there continuous duty pump kit on this weekend,the kit will air up a 37" tire ,I got an after market gauge for running my airbags it has 2 needles in 1 gauge also has 2 switches for airing up the bags individually I highly recommend that kit

 

What kit did you get?

Has anyone done any of this for a train horn(s) install? Recommendations for where to put them? Sorry for kind of derailing the thread..

 

I haven't yet but I plan to soon, the kit I bought says it will run up to a 1/2" air gun continuously so I know it will handle a couple horns, I've heard placing them in the front bumper is effective
