I inquired Mishimoto about when they will be offering a radiator for the 6.4L. I got some great news that you can finally get rid of the radiator with plastic end tanks. In case you don't know about Mishimoto, they offer a lifetime warranty on their products. No questions asked. Here is the response from Mishimoto.

Thanks for the E-mail.

Yes, we are in process of coming out with an intercooler and radiator for the 6.4L F250. We expect these products to be available for purchase within the next 2-3 months.

Good to know....I just got my radiator fixed under warranty at the dealership. I'm sure when this one fails I will past my mileage for replacement on Fords dime. Then it would make sense to upgrade for sure.

Good deal. The 6.0 guys have good things to say about them

Same here. I'm about to pull the trigger on a new one just looking at aftermarket solutions.

Originally I was going to go with this one I found DPP (Performance Radiator | 2008-2010 6.4L Ford Powerstroke) as I thought it was innovative, but then I started looking around and came across "Vista-pro" that claim the same design features, hell even the same graphics that DPP used on their page but for $200-$300 less.

Anyone know of some other aftermarket replacements or can give input on vista-pro? No way I'm going with a OEM one. Unfortunately looking back at the past year or two worth of post there are many that said they were working on an aluminum end tank version but nobody has come through yet..

Radiatorbarn.com seems to be the cheapest on the vista-pro radiator:

$663 shipped, might pull the trigger if I can't find something else and do a review. Interesting that they say new hoses required for install though, I've never had a problem reusing my existing hoses (latest gen).

Installed the vista-pro radiator last Friday and so far so good. No alignment issues, the quality seems good and all the threads for various items were in the correctly place. It included 2 new O-Rings for the rad hoses, which I used in the upper.

Just about all the air seems to be out of it and my temps are just about where they were before. Seems to run about 1-2 degrees hotter but might just be the warm weather lately. Will update when it's had a year or two on it (hopefully more).

Did you go with the vista pro vs. performance radiator because of the price? Also hopefully BPD and moshimoto will be coming out with a radiator for the 6.4 soon :thumb:

I had the radiator replaced about six months ago out of my pocket. It made me sick reading that some people have replaced it 2-3 times and I actually considered selling the truck at one point but I got over it.
Its good to hear that there will be a permanent fix and ford should've corrected this years ago.

After owning the truck for a year I finally ordered my exhaust, mini maxx and intake so I'm in it for the long haul.

The "performance" radiator on dieselpowerproducts website had identical "feature" images copied from vista-pro's broucher on the f250 radiator, so I'm guessing it's just a vista-pro radiator anyways.

The radiator with the logo is a bit confusing as it's not a f250 radiator like the unbadged one furthur down the site is.

Advanceauto had it to my door in 2 days for $700 shipped w/ taxes. Mush was saying that their 6.4 radiator was almost done over a year ago :(

I just installed a Vista-Pro in my 6.4 after only 16,000 km on my 08' Harley F-350. I couldn't wait for the Mishimito as my leak was slowly getting worse and worse. The Vista-Pro seems to be very high quality and it installed with no issues what so ever, perfect fit. Plus it also comes with a lifetime warranty which is nice.
