There are many threads on this, sounds to me like you have a windshield leak.

That would be me! When the windshield leaks, it goes through a "funnel" created by the main fuse box grommet. This drips it directly onto the ventilation slots in the back of the GEM under which sits all the connector pins - so everything controlled by the GEM stands a chance of shorting to the pins around it. From the there, the water flows into the bottom left of the fuse box which acts as a cup to allow the water to rise about halfway up the fusebox. When I removed mine, it looked like it was recovered from the Titanic.

Replacement parts are about $100 each on Ebay. I managed to find a GEM manufactured on the exact same day as my fried one! Just search the part number shown on the side. Also, OEM replacement windshields are the same price as aftermarket (around me) so don't let them give you a crap one!

 

Yes it’s been raining, the carpet is a little damp on the the drivers side under the fuse box. Do you think it got wet? I unplugged all the connectors for gem yesterday wasn’t wet at all

Do i blow the fuse box out? I have no idea what to do. I’ve checked the other threads nothing seems to work.

 

Step 1: Read the thread I posted.
Step 2: Find the GEM
Step 3: inspect around and inside for water
Step 4: dry out the GEM and see if its salvageable

Replace if necessary.

 

How do you dry it out? Just take it out and wait a few days?

Would that also cause my battery to drain?

 

Well, I would start with shop air and blow it out then treat it like a cell phone and put it in rice or an absorbent.

As for what would cause the drain, I would suspect all those components being shorted out and drawing current.
