My buddy who owns a performance shop who i work for on the side recently helped me come into possesion of a "1500hp" rated 6r140 trans. My current goal is to take the trans apart and inspect the internal modifications and copy the "recipe" if the claim turns out to be true. Currently I am looking for disassembly/assembly pdf manuals that I don't need to buy and specialty tool lists, anyone have any resources that could help me out? Thank you.

You'll def want a set of band removal pliers. Last time I did a trans that was the 1 tool that made the job. Hopefully someone else jumps in.
It's been a while since I pulled apart a trans but the pliers make removing bands much easier. I just did a little searching and the 6r140 doesn't use bands. I stand corrected. You could have made that a little quicker and said "hey they don't use bands in those trannys". But thank you for pointing that out anyhow.
You can get a good look at a T-bone steak by sticking your head up a steers a$$, or you could take the butchers word for it.
I’d just call the company and ask. Don’t think it’s a huge secret. Bigger shafts, better alloys, upgraded plates and torque converter. Bet thats 90% of the recipes right there and far less work. But if you do it, please post pics that would be very educational to follow. Best of luck.
