Is the wheel width within the manufacturers spec?

 

Discount tire said it was the smallest tire that could go on that wheel, so I'd assume it is but at the bottom.

 

What does the manufacturer say?

 

Tire is rated for up to 10 inch wheel. So its within it. I'm just wondering if I'm gonna have issues with hauling stuff

 

Man, you should consider jumping up to a 305/65 (or 70) tire.

 

if the tire is rated ( it is as you stated and I checked also ) then you should not have any issues related to rim size , tire seat, and wear

you also need to check load ratings vs weight ( I am sure you have .. i think it was a 124 so 3527

many people go much larger rim than is rated and many times the MFG has just not done the testing for the larger rims ( according to Toyo )

 

I have 285/75r16 pathfinder A/T and they were put on a 16x10 raceline wheel. My question is, will I be able to tow a camper without any issues? Thanks

We wanted to confirm, the 285/75R16 would be safe for your application and you can tow with it. As long as you are between the tire manufacturers recommended wheel widths,(7"-10" for your tire size) it is a safe application, and will carry the tires rated capacity.
