hi, got a weird issue one day out of the blue my dad tried starting the truck and it won’t crank, the lower fuel pump is noisy, the codes match up with the issue. No metal found in any of the filters or housings. So we replace the lower fuel pump. And it had a rough start after purging the system twice, it has a rough idle. My dad did say one of the fuel lines clips broke, I’m wondering if that can cause the line to suck in air, because otherwise p2539 P228E might be a sensor failure before the high pressure fuel pump. I figured I should ask and see what to look for if I’m wrong about the fuel line, or the lookup about the code.
