So I’ve been having this issue for the last year or so but didn’t really have time to mess with it until about a month ago but I’ve been reading every thread on this subject on every forum that I could find but I’ve finally thrown in the towel and decided to make a post today to see what you guys think. The issue is that the “service AdvanceTrac and hill decent not available” message will flash rapidly on the center display (I took a video today and have the link to it at the end). The truck needed wheel bearings so I’ve replaced both front wheel bearings with new ones from 1A Auto and the problem went away completely for about 4 or 5 half hour (25mi) drives to and from work. After that the error started showing up at speeds over ~70 MPH. Today I drove the truck to work with it only going off twice above 70, then on the way home the truck wouldn’t stop doing it at about any speed and it was going off every 2 seconds almost the whole way back home. My temporary fix for this so my ABS doesn’t go crazy and pull me off the side of the road every time I hit the brakes is to just unplug one of the wheel speed sensors to disable the system completely but I’d love to hear from anyone who’s had this same problem and what they’ve tried and what fixed it if they did. Thanks in advance!

read the code and see which wheel is complaining. remove that sensor and clean it and the sensor hole. put it back togeather and see what happens. might want to check the wire make sure it didn't get pinched or cut. i had a similar when the right rear wire got pinched it would some and go.

i don't have any experience with the easylink. even with a tune I have no issue reading codesfrom the OBDII port with forscan. i don't keep the programmer connected and haven't tried to hook the x4 back up to read anything. but i would think torque would show you the trouble codes as long as you can access the OBDII port. to plug in a reader.

Yeah I’ll dig up my android tablet from wherever it’s hiding and try to get some codes from that... fingers crossed it’s something stupid lol

I would start checking chaffing of wires or broken wires....specifically ones that go into the ABS loom behind the fender liner on the driver side. My bet is if you got it read by Ford, these 2 codes would probably come up. U0121 - lost communication with the ABS control module and U0115 - lost communication with the ECM/PCMB module

Also, do you have anything plugged into the OBD? I've heard in some cases that can also cause certain things to act "funny."
