Having a no start issue after blowing headgasket or egr failure , was stuck in snow blew head gaskets most likely. Kept trying to start car to avoid $1000 tow and being stuck in the mountains, resulted in these error codes regarding the crank shaft. ( is this the right place to post this , first post my apologies)

I thank you for the video unfortunately he has an issue regarding the trucks wires being broken within the insulation causing those codes. In my case I was not having electrical issues, and believe I caused the codes by cranking a bunch when I was initially broken down on the side of road when I was trying to get out of the snow. My Truck will not start currently because of these codes. Does anyone know what damage I would have caused by excessive cranking / how to repair said damage. Or did I just mess up cam sensor by cranking to much.

(Full time student, part time job, not enough time in the day to read forum after forum as much as Id like too, was hoping to hear from someone who had a similar experience to point me in the right direction)

Codes P2614 and P2617 will usually set together when a stalling event or repeated hard starting events occur. If you have no other codes present, I would look elsewhere.

Thank you for your response Ford Doctor,
I believe the codes arose from me repeated hard starting, with your knowledge as a technician do you know what the repeated hard starting would theoretically do to the truck / what is typically the next step to solve a hard start problem if its not wiring and everything worked fine before I hard started too many times?

The only things that could be a negative effect of hard starting is damage to your starter motor from overheating it by cranking too much and draining batteries repeatedly.
