My factory manual hubs have worked well with quite a bit of off roading. (so far) I wheel my truck more than most people do with something so big and heavy. If I had it to do over I'd build a D60 from an F-350 to put under it with the Dynatrac free spin kit and high steer knuckles. I go slow and easy in the rough and it has lasted for now. I wish Dynatrac made hubs for the D50 in my F250. Warn Premium are very well thought of in off road circles.

 

I have a question bud how can you tell if your hubs are manual or automatic

 

Here is what the manual locking hubs look like...

Lock, locks them in. Auto, unlocks them so the tires spin freely independently.

 

hear good things about mile marker hubs. pretty cheap at 140 for the pair. dealership wants 150 a piece for oem hubs.
