i have a 2001 ford powerstroke 7.3 i hooked the scanner up and got a code of P1284 stops the KOER test from happening i am trying to figure out how to diagnos the problem.

Check your ICP. First thing is to search the forum and read up on others problems. Then look for broken ICP plug wires. Disconnect the wire while idling and check for a change. If all of the wiring checks out, you may need to replace the ICP.
