1997 F-250 ECSB 2x4 7.3 Powerstroke XLT - SOLD!!
Selling my 97 powerstroke. This truck is in excellent condition and I'm only selling because I finally upgraded to an 08 super duty. It has 199,585 miles. It has an all original 7.3 powerstroke. The only thing I've ever had to do was change the oil every 5,000 miles with Motorcraft filters and 15 quarts of Rotella-T. I have replaced minor things like the water pump, camshaft position sensor, fuel pump, etc. No major engine parts have ever had to be replaced. Now the transmission was rebuilt at about 120,000 miles when the truck threw a code for trans slip detection. It still shifts good and firm to this day.
It has a K&N intake, 3" down pipe, and 4" straight exhaust. It also has a small chip, I think it is good for about 40 hp, nothing crazy. All together the add ons make a solid responsive truck without compromising reliability. It has newer tires with probably 80% tread left. Also has a gooseneck ball in the bed and the base for a fifth wheel hitch. We also put on a keyless entry system with remote start which is awesome on cold mornings.
