08 Seat hurt your rear?

I'm sure some will get a laugh. Butt seriously. I have an 08 F450 that I spend 4-6 hours a day in and my azz and left hip having been killing me for quite some time now. I'd say for almost 2 years, had the truck about 3.
I asked one of my coworkers with the same truck the other day and same thing with him.
Anyone else have this issue? It's just the plain Jane cloth buckets. Thanks

Probably has to do with the amount of time in the saddle. I've driven some long distances in both cars and trucks and eventually the butt, hips and legs start to complain.

However, like wide_body, the short trips have never been a problem.

I think Leather seat covers would give a firmer support for the Behind. Next time opt. for leather.

I don't think my size is an issue, only 5'-8" at 180 and I do have leather seating. I just find it difficult to sit for that long a time. I can go several hours but the few times I've done 4-6 or more hours as the OP mentioned, sitting just gets really uncomfortable.

I dont mind them one bit. If you want to feel uncomfortable seats buy a dodge. Those seats are like sitting on a bench at a baseball game. Ill sit in my truck often times 5+ hours a day and I have yet to have an issue with the seats. I do take my wallet out of my back pocket when I drive though. That may be something to think about trying to see if that helps any.

I have 2010 seats in my 05, I love them. Waiting on my center console, but the seats are comfortable, not quite as much so as my 05 cloth seats-they were a bit wider. I agree that the backseat sucks-The most comfy backseat was the 99-04 bench that didn't fold up/didn't split. That thing was like a sofa compared to the newer ones!

One thing that helps me is to tilt the seat as far forward as possible to take the pressure off the underside of my legs-the back of the seat up, front of the seat down. With the power pedals, and seats, I can get pretty close to the perfect driving position.

I have leather seats and i have a bad back and on short trips of 2 or 3 hrs i`m ok, on longer ones i keep the seat as low as possible and use a gel cushion that i got from a medical supply store used for wheelchairs it is amazing, prior to that it was vocodin and a 6er of bud

i don't particularly care for them either. I drive 7 hours to Ohio and each trip my butt and hips just plain hurt. For me their not good seats for long trips. Butt i love everything else about the truck.:)

I think the cloth seats are more comfortable than the leather-only reason I have leather is it's easier to clean.
