Hey guys, just picked up a new to me 2003 F350 4wd with the beloved 7.3. Love the truck so far but the AC definitely isn’t right. It blows ice cold but even on max level 4 it doesn’t blow hard enough to keep the cab cold during the day. I bought it in rough condition and my mechanic repaired a lot of stuff including the “evaporator, dryer, orphis tube,blower resistor and plug” per his invoice. I thought it might be the evaporator being blocked but it was replaced. Any ideas? Last truck didn’t have AC and I’m south Florida so I’m losing patience with this. Already dumped a ton of money into it so hoping it’s something simple I can handle.
Edit: All four speeds on the control work, one is almost nothing and the other two increase flow but are basically useless other than number four on max. Also seems like all blend doors are working, defrost, floor and all controls seem to switch properly. Thanks.
