Truck thinks door is open when it's not??? PLEASE !!

I have a stupid annoying problem with the new truck, it thinks one of the door (i think drivers front) is open when none are open. It's a pain because the light stays on for a long time also the **** light on the dash is driving me crazy.

Is this common??
How does the system work on this truck? where is the pin or switch which tells the truck the door is closed?

BTW its a ext cab.

Tonight my '99 F250 threw the "Door Ajar" light. A liberal dose of "knock'er loose" did the trick. I also had experienced troubles unlocking the door with the key. It would go in but not turn. Again a shot of the pink did the trick.
Thank you for the tip. Worked great and I can sleep tonight. LOL
