For those of you with the Toyo M/T's I have a few questions. How many miles are you getting out of a set of tire's? How's the ride? and how loud are they? I like the way they look and want to get some when my A/T's wear out but the M/T's are about $400 more a set than the A/T's but if they get the same mileage that the A/T's get then I'm all for the M/T's.

i have 30000 miles on my mt and they still have about half the thread. they arent as bad noise as i thought they would be but they still hum pretty good runnin down the highway. as for the ride i have 20" rim on 35" tires so the sidewalls are short and thick so the ride isnt as good as you get with 16" or 18" tires but i live with it for the looks of the tire and the offroad use that i get out of them. over all they are a very good tire

I've had mine for a little over 15k and I hardly notice the road noise compared to my last MT tires. Here are several picks that I just took for you, but I don't think they do justice since it's dark and they are pretty dirty.

Wow that is steep, in OR you can get them for alittle over $300. I just put on my secound set about a month ago. The first set I had I got 43,000 miles out of them and I pull a trailer and my pu weighs 8200#.

Not to hijack this thread, but along the same lines and might help out some. I have been considering these for my next set. Anyone have a comparison (mileage or ride) to another "known" tire. BFG A/T's or M/T's, Goodyear MT/R's or something like that? I have had a "few" tires in the past, but the Toyo's are relatively new to the mainstream market.

When I was looking for a set of 18 to replace my continentals ( junk in winter) they were going to cost around $900. Bought a set of BF rugged trail with rims 17" had about 5000 miles on them for $750. Great tire for here in Michigan, Go thru the snow very well next set will get prices on Goodyear and BF Goodrich But being able to swap tires for now hope that will be a few years.

I don't know about the MTZ's, I haven't really heard good things about them, but I know they compare the STT to the Toyo and they say its same but half the cost......so your paying for the name really

I dont know about anyone else, but I have a set of 38x15.5x18 Toyo MT and they flat out suck on ice/snow covered roads. Been looking for another set of tires that compare to the looks/off road performance as the toyo's. And yes the Toyo's are very expensive. cheapest I can find around here for the size I have is $1100 a tire.

If anyone knows of a good MT tire that doesnt suck nearly as bad on snow/ice please let me know. Either 37x13.5 or 38x15.5

well first of all that is definitely way to much money for a tire, and I really dont think that you will ever find a 15.5" wide tire that doesnt suck in snow and Ice. The wider the tire the worse it is going to be in conditions like that.

I know that it is a lot for a tire, but I honestly cant find a tire shop that sells em any cheaper in Edmonton. If anyone has some inside info on where to go I would really appreciate it.

If I can actually get them as cheap as when you guys are saying I will probably step up to 20 or 22" wheels with a 37x13.5 tire.
