In preparation for towing my 9000ish TT cross country with my 8" lifted 2006 F250 I'm going all out on safety stuff and grabbing an 8" Curt drop hitch, Curt anti-sway WDH and also figure I might as well put on helper springs or air bags just not sure what would be better?

Air bags would take a bit more fab work as it's got the 8" lift, but nothing I can't bang out in a weekend.

For helper springs I'm looking at these:

What's best for my situation fellas?

Wpg I’ve ran the extended frame pads from super spring on my last two trucks. They are the best of all options if you have the factory overloads. They engage the overload earlier. Set them about 1” from engagement when unloaded. I’ll try to snap a pic if needed. Far superior to bags as it uses the overloads designed by ford.pic of mine

Yeah I forgot about the overload leafs so SuperSprings is out of the question and overkill since I won't be towing often at all.

Was thinking about Sumo springs, but what you posted here looks dead on perfect for my situation 👍👍👍

Do these just bolt into existing holes or have to drill em out?

Much thanks by the way Jet 😁

The factory ones just have a rubber grommet holding them in. You pop them off with screwdriver. New ones bolt in. They work really well and as far as sag, whatever you reduce the space between the pad and overload versus factory will be the reduction in sag. My truck stocked sagged about 5 inches but with these pads only about 2-2.5. Best part is as long as they are not touching unloaded then they have zero effect on ride. Will last forever and don’t have to adjust air like bags

Wd hitch won’t take but an 1” of sag out. Really just helps with control of trailer and they are a must to have. It’s more transferring some weight to front of truck versus off the back. Yea I’d recommend these frame pads for all applications

When I got my 04 a few years ago it already had the AirLift bags installed its a 2wd and the smoothest riding 3/4 ton I've rode in. In can only guess that the air springs have something to do with that. The system automatically keeps a minimum of 5lbs of psi and that works for pretty much any load I've had. It it just doesn't sag with weight, it's got a spring pack with factory overloads and I've never put a load on where they touch. (Unless i let some of the loaded pressure off) I vote air bag

Air suspension is nothing but trouble in my experience with other vehicles. The rubber bellows leak eventually or air escaping from compressor, lines, etc. Great when it works, but a PITA to keep working a few years down the road. Might not be as bad with a manual inflation system.

Same. I have repaired too many brackets and replaced too many bags on others rigs that I’d never have them on my own. I think there is a range of quality with the kits and most people go cheap.
