Kicker makes basically a direct replacement and resuses the factory amp on the factory sub box that is coming with some of the super dutys.

I saw where a guy also just replaced the sub and installed a small amp to bypass the factory amp and seemed to have good sound to it.

 

Seen that but don’t think an 8”er will cut it. Wish I knew someday that had one I could hear

If you are interested in the 10” kit I would call kicker and see what they say about fit. I don’t own a 17+ but I wouldn’t imagine the back seat area would be THAT different. I suppose I could be wrong though.

They are vastly different. Got a whole new cab in 17. Much less room in back. But conversely much more leg room

 

I’m going to go with the box I posted link too. Run a JL 13wt5 and big amp. Guess there not as many premade options for the newer trucks, at least behind the seat. Thanks guys

My understanding is that box will not allow the seat to lift up completely unless you modify the seat mounting brackets to gain an extra 1/4" of clearance or so behind the seat. Hopefully they have addressed this issue by now.

Had one of theirs in my 08 behind the seat with two 10s. It worked well and didn't interfere with anything. I did have to cut out the carpet and padding for it to fit properly though.

Cutting up your 19 interior might have to happen.
