Hey guys, anyone know what happened to Spartan's main web site www.spartandieseltech.com ? I've tried several times to get to it but seems to be down, or has changed. I am running the Spartan tuner, but wanted to go through some of the forums and can't seem to access the site any longer.

Thanks!

I will tell you that I was having an issue with my Spartan. After trying to get a hold of Spartan with no luck I contacted other places to try and track them down. I was told by many that Spartan is no longer around and they have been bought out by Patriot Diagnostics. Well Patriot Diagnostics does not have a website nor could I find any contact information at first. After digging around I was able to locate a number to contact Patriot when I did the line would ring with no answer and go to a voicemail message saying if you are trying to contact Spartan please email us at XXXX email. Which I did asking if Spartan was still supporting these units. My Reply back was "Spartan has now become Patriot Diagnostics." There was no answer to my question and I figured that it was a miss understood message as I'm sure they have been getting a lot of these types of emails. So I replied back with my concern of the product and to find out if the masterminds behind the Spartan tuners are now working with Patriot so they can continue with support. The response back was "I just told you Spartan is now Patriot Diagnostics, Spartan does not exist anymore, there is NO Spartan. We no longer are supporting the DashDaq or the nDash other than transferring licenses. We have a new tuner available for purchase in which we will be glad to assists with. Anything else I can help you with?

One, what awful customer service, Spartan was never like that. Two, if they don't have the guys from Spartan programming these new tuners who do they have and whats there backstory. I personally wouldn't a product that changes the programming of my $60k vehicle if they have no proven history. Just my two cents.

Well then....

Ill just throw up the GREAT customer service that I have had with them. No complaints here and if you go through the proper channels (albeit FB) then you get the normal answers and customer service. Want a reason as to why its like this now....people buy these tuners break their trucks or get caught during an emission test and then want to sue the tuning company for the expenses from THEIR (owners) decisions. Welcome to the new American way....Its never MY fault, always someone else's!

Has any bought a replacement for their DASHDAQ XL?

Mine has been faithfully serving me since 2011 and now will not read the SD Card.

I'm out of towing season and would like to retune the truck, I've tried contacting Patriot ~ not allot of help there. I've asked if they support my Spartan tune files in their new device but they never answered (or at least waiting 10 days for an answer doesn't give me a warm-n-fuzzy).

I've seen a couple other site selling dashdaq units, but looking at their online info I don't see the "load tune" menu item as part of what is programmed in those.
