hey what inside rearview mirror did you use?

you've done a number of mods i want to do to my truck

 

Its a gentex mirror found in a bunch of vehicles. came in silverados, sierras, crown vics, lincons etc. Just gotta look for it... orrrr I can sell you my spare one haha

 

ok i thought it looked like the ones in gm trucks and suv's. what all is required to make it work(what do i need to get out of donor vehicle).i gonna go to junk yard this weekend and look for random parts,goin looking for one touch window parts :thumb:

 

If you have one that does compass ONLY, just the pigtail, its power, ground, and reverse signal (to turn off auto-dim)

If you get the outside temp as well, then you need a temp sensor.

You know....im gonna go back and get all this stuff out of that SHO and then prolly get the harness out of that truck we yanked the dash....why did you talk me into this lol!!

 

cause its fun!!!! you need the plugs at least out of the taurus for each unit. Keep in mind you need alot of little parts lol .

 

I might have to have you come snag it all with me. idk what id be looking for other than the head unit
