I have a 2015 Platinum F-350 and have read that the seats have filters for heating and cooling. Where are these located and how do you get them off. I looked this weekend and did not see them. Does anyone have pictures? I would like to clean these or replace them.

Also where is the cabin air filter located?

Thanks

Here you go.. Should be towards the rear of the seat underneath, up top. Originally they were a white mesh material and seems they changed them to these. My Explorer had the white mesh. The manual says to change every 30k so I did just that on my Explorer and when I took them off, you could not tell which was old and new. At 30k, it was a complete waste of money.

Unless you are in a construction area throwing up dust as a daily job, I would not worry about changing them on a 2015. Replace them every 50k and call it a day

I guess it also depends on how often you use the seat heater/AC... I've seen that in my scheduled maintenance section of my book, but never paid much attention to it. Now I'm kinda curious what they look like... How much do the filters cost, can you get them at a standard Autozone/Orilieys, and is it for the front seats only?

About $21 each, front seats only.

There is no cabin filter.
I hope the "17's" come with one.

I was wondering the same thing lol. I thought it was going to be a muffler bearings type of question. Then there is valid replies. Jeez, we all lurk cause we want the newer trucks, but I keep needing to convince myself all the extra stuff is why I need to drop $60k... Then I see this. Dang a few things we could pass on and keep the sticker price down. I paid $36.4 OTD (in a no tax state), guess I'll keep running her while she still getting the job done, even without seat heater filters....
