Look into switching into an sct tuner.my question is with a custom tune does one make more power than the other. Or should I say "better" power, better running. Or does the x4 just have better options. Any info on either is great thanks

custome tunes dont depend on the tuner, its just a way to upload to the computer. the canned tunes are what chanes.
I was thinking more along the lines of if one controls different sensors or maybe one having a larger power area from it being more sophisticated over the other. I can pick up a used x3 for cheap but is the new x4 worth the extra money is my main question. As far as monitoring and scanning I'll be using my edge insight so I'm not worried about better options on the x4 just if it's a better tuner over the x3
