I have used both, raptor liner is hard when it dries but is very tough, and can have a smooth or rough texture depending on how you spray it, Herculiner has a more rubbery texture that keeps things from sliding around better. If I was doing a flat bad I would probably use the Raptor liner, but for a regular bed I prefer herculiner.

 

Thanks i was on the fence on either one but ill go with the raptor on the bed and herculiner the frame i already bought the herculiner but saw the raptor after i ordered it. So how much do u think i need for the 8 foot flat bed

 

If you already have the herculiner then I would go ahead and use it on the flatbed. I wouldn't recommend putting bedliner on the frame. If you are dead set on using raptor liner then I would order two kits or 8 bottles.

 

I picked up the Dupli-color Bed Armor kit with Kevlar yesterday. I'll let ya'll know what I think after using it. I was planning on going with Herculiner, but the store I stopped at only had a quart. I just removed the plastic bedliner that had been in it since 2004 so the bed itself is in pretty good shape, just several areas where the paint has rubbed off.

I never got any pics of Dupli-Color kit after application. I'll try to remember to do that.
I thought it turned out pretty well, for a self application with a roller and brush. It doesn't look as professional as a spray in solution would, but it is/was fine for my purposes, especially at the price point.

 

I have raptor liner in my truck bed in usual form. I had my truck sprayed everywhere else with raptor liner but in a smoother finish.
