Has anyone had any issue with their 2017 alarm going off randomly when locked? Every night between 10-11 the alarm will begin to go off until I unlock the vehicle. Nothing is messing around with the vehicle, it just starts honking every night between 10-11.

It is bugs. Mine did it a few times and freaked me out at first I went running outside with gun in hand. I thought it was a fluke, shut it off, went back inside only to have it go off again and again. Went out and sat in the truck trying to figure out how to turn off the alarm so I could get some sleep and I saw a small moth flying around the rear view mirror. Chased it away and alarm didn't go off anymore. There are sensors in the overhead console that detect movement. If a bug goes by them it will set the alarm off. I have noticed it several times after I have left the windows down.

Thank you for the information. I went into advanced settings last night when I parked and switched the alarm to proximity only and sure enough, no alarm and a good nights sleep. I spoke with the dealership where I purchased the F250 from and they are going to update the module to disable the interior sensors so I do not have to shut them off each time I park to eliminate this false alarm. Then I noticed a dead fly on the dash and figured it was the thing causing all of the issues all along. I would have never guessed a dang bug would have been the issue.

They are pretty sensitive. I think I read somewhere the purpose of them was to go off if someone breaks your side windows and reaches in or your truck is locked with windows down and someone reaches in. I like the sensors and only have bug issues when I leave the windows down when parked which isn't very often.
