Picked up my above new truck Oct. 29, 2021 from the dealer in Kingman Az. While reading the 737 page owners manual i discovered on page 409, the truck is suppose to have maintenance free batteries. Mine came with lead acid batteries. I contacted the dealer who said he would have to contact Ford as he did not have an answer to my issue. He said he would call me when he found out. Two days without an answer so i again contacted the dealer who said he was still awaiting a reply. See " fordservicespecials.com " reference, " is your battery strong enough ". Have any 2022 Super Duty owners trucks come with AGM or any other maintenance free battery ?

2022 trucks will not have AGM batteries. Most all modern vehicles will have "sealed" hence maintenance free batteries.

Modern car batteries do not require maintenance. After a visual inspection, your trained service technician may recommend servicing battery terminals if they become corroded. This service generally includes cleaning the posts and terminals, as well as applying a protective spray or grease.
