Over Non limited slip axle ? I need help understanding the difference.

Electric diff has some pros and cons. Here are some pros can lock both wheels for getting out off small stuff. Used to pull at low speeds. Cons controlled by the computer. It automatically shuts off at 25 mph wheel speed. So if you need wheel speed to get out of mud must stay under 25 to keep both wheels turning at the same time of the computer shuts it off.Cant use it on dry pavement making turns or you will break the locker. Ask me how i know lol.

is it possible to remove that 25mph function through tuning?

If you broke the locker turning on dry pavement then it must be peice of junk. I would get the open diff then pull it out and throw a Detroit or grizzly locker in there, that way it will stay locked above 25mph and it will be much stronger.

The real benefit of the locker is that you get the best of both worlds.
No wearing clutch pack and possible scrubbing when you are on the pavement - runs as and is a standard open diff. Then off-road you get a spool.
There is no negative and tons of positives.
