Pressure Code Issues

Just joined and happy to be here!! 2016 F350 Super Duty XL w/40K miles.

I'm suffering repeated low pressure codes w/eng light and limp mode activated just after changeing both fuel filters. I followed the same procedure at 20K miles without issue. Dealership took $400 (purge and clear) and failed to fix the issue, so I'm interested to DIY if possible.

Here's the situation:
a. At key-on, Lower pump/filter runs for an extended period (say 10-15 secs) and seems to make abnormal noises.
b. After several seconds of key-on, the top-side filter seems to make a hissing noise.

Qs:
a. What is the normal lower pressure pump run duration after key-on?
b. Does the abnormal lower pump noise indicate that replacement is needed? Any concerns in doing it myself?
c. Is there a flow test that shoud be conducted to further diagnose the issue?
d. If the issue is corrected by a pump replacement, does the eng light/limp mode reset automatically? Or do these need to be cleared electronically? (...or perhaps a hard reset/battery disconnect?)

Thanks for any advisement provided!!
