Hello,

Thanks in advance

On a Banks iDash, the DPFRG gauge displays the status of the Diesel Particulate Filter Regeneration (DPF Regeneration). It indicates when a regeneration process is occurring to burn off trapped soot from the DPF and can show the progression of that process.

What it tells you:
  • DPFRG %:
This percentage indicates how much soot is in the filter, or how close the filter is to needing a regeneration. A high percentage (e.g., 98-100%) means a regeneration is imminent or has already started.

  • DPFRG Status:
The gauge can also show different states of regeneration:
    • Off (Solid): The exhaust temperature is cooling down after a regeneration.
    • Off/Passive (Flashes alternating): The exhaust temperature is rising, preparing for a passive regeneration.
    • Active Regen (Flashes alternating): The DPF is actively burning soot during an active regeneration cycle.
